7 Days to Die: Tokyo Drift

Clear the Roads

Doing missions you'll often find yourself following the same routes. Problem is there are abandoned vehicles and strangely durable shopping carts strewn all over the roads. Grab a wrench or impact driver and take some time to clear the debris out of your regular paths.

Wasteland Driving

Driving cross country in the wasteland biome doesn't work out well. If you have to cross country it's often faster on foot. Getting your bike caught on those metal pieces sucks to get out of and the concreate blocks eat away at its durability. Seriously, just take the roads. On a side note, cut down those crappy burnt trees and replant pristine saplings. Sure, it's purely aesthetic, but it might impress Jen. She's hot.

Organize Your Loot

You can label storage crates. Do. Give them useful labels, unlike me. The longer you go the more you'll accumulate, so it will behoove you to separate them more and more specifically. Suggestions: Gear (Weapons, Armor, Mods), Food and Medicine, Crafting, Ammo (eventually you'll have enough to fill a crate, just trust me.)

I'm glad you know which way to go

The quests as I've mentioned have an intended path. Figuring out the path takes observation and a little meta-gaming. You can still break the sequence, but I wouldn't recommended it. To clear quests you gotta hit each encounter point eventually, and the path takes you through them all.

Deterrents

If there are barricades or spikes, you're meant to avoid going through there.

Indicators

Usually if there's a flashlight, it's oriented toward the proper way to go. Other times locked doors will be a clue to look for another way around.

Open Windows

Sometimes on quests you'll see an open window. Usually this means you're intended to go out there, but not always. Take a peek. If there's a ledge or a spot you can jump to, you should. Just make sure you don't leave the quest boundary.

You Ever Take It Off Some Sweet Jumps?

Pick up your bike before you enter a mission or dangerous area. That way you don't lose it if you die. You did the sensible thing and turned off the lose all your crap on death option, right?  When you finish an area that ends on some sort of building roof, whip out the bike and ramp off the edge. It'll take some damage (yourself as well perhaps) but it's worth it.

Within reason of course... unless you maxed out Agility and Parkour.

Max Out Agility and Parkour

Forego damage and toughness for a while for the sake of increased maneuverability. It will serve you well.

Jen's Still Hot

Dream Weaver... I believe you can get me through the night...
